Mini 'Your baby's health and wellbeing' Course
Helping you to understand your newborn's health and wellbeing needs in those early months.
On this course you will learn how to recognise your baby's emotional, physical and health needs in those early months and how to manage them.
The course is taken from our best selling Beyond Birth Course and contains videos and MP3s from Midwives, childcare consultants, a dentist, a qualified first aid expert and a baby wearing specialist covering advice and practical instruction on:
- How to recognise your baby's needs in those early months
- Knowing what to look for with those first wee's and poo's
- Baby tongue-tie; recognising the signs and how to treat it
- How to practice baby massage and baby yoga
- Teething; spotting the signs and how to soothe your baby
- Oral hygiene; when and how to brush your baby's teeth and that first dental appointment
- Understanding mental and physical development milestones
- How to become a confident parent
- How to implement and manage a daily routine
- Getting out and about with your baby including what to pack in your nappy bag
- Introducing your newborn to their sibling
- Babywearing; how to wear your baby safely and the benefits
- Top tips for thinking about first aid when you have a baby
There is also a downloadable Postnatal Support Guide written by our midwife, Anneke, which covers everything you need to know in bite size chapters.
Your Instructor
Anneke, a UK Midwife, and Sarah, are co-founders of Komu. They are passionate about empowering new parents across the world with knowledge to create a positive birth experience and are on a mission to make antenatal and postnatal care more accessible. They want to ensure mum and dads are as prepared as possible and that becoming a parent is as a positive and a happy of an experience as it can be.
